The warp threads are strung onto the loom lengthwise and the weft threads are woven over and under the warp threads to produce the fabric. The more threads per inch the fines are the cloth. Known as "count" which implies that the number of threads woven in a saree per square inches, gives the optimum softness in Opara Silk Sarees.
